I have many fond childhood memories with Aunt Kate. Her great sense of humor made her fun to be around and her empathy and kindness made those with her feel important. I remember taking my first plane ride with Grammy to spend the weekend with Aunt Kate and Julian. We spent many happy Christmases together. She always was a thoughtful gift giver and I remember being so excited to get my first purse from her around the age of 7 or 8. She was a fantastic storyteller and would make the most mundane errands sound like an epic quest. She was loved and she will be missed. Rest in peace Aunt Kate.
